AAPC Test - CRHC Certified Coder's Virtual Test ~ Registration Deadline April 4th, 2025It is with great pleasure that NORM is providing the CRHC (Certified Rheumatology Coder) virtual test as well as the exam review session for 2025! NORM Support is for the first 25 registered attendees The Value of the Program is around $2000.00. NORM is excited to announce there will be no cost for this year's coding test! Commitment to Prepare for the Exam: Prior to enrolling in the NORM CRHC Exam and Study preparation, please review the time commitment needed to prepare properly for this certification. NORM recommends the NORM Member and Test Participant discuss the decision to participate and the time necessary to properly prepare for the test with their employer. This year we are having a pre-registration mandatory review session. There are 8 hours of live teaching webinars offered during normal business hours to include 1:1 case study analysis. While NORM will record these webinars, it is best to participate in the live sessions. The recording will be posted on the NORM AAPC-CRHC website to allow you to listen as needed and at your convenience. We are recommending additional study hours during the participant's own time to better prepare for this exam. We suggest studying, at the minimum, an additional two hours per week between the first webinar and the review session in addition to the webinar sessions. When you register yourself or your employee you will acknowledge that you have discussed the time commitment with your employer. If you or your staff are interested in registering for our CRHC Exam Preparation Class, you must attend one of the following Preview Sessions! It is mandatory and required to register. You or your manager must be an active NORM member for 2025 and have paid your dues to the AAPC to be selected. Objective: Review with the potential student and the NORM member the necessary Once the test and study materials have been bought, they cannot be transferred to another individual within the practice. NORM asks that all participants give a good faith effort to obtain this certification. NORM defines this as attending at least 80% of all study sessions. If the participant is unable to put forth a good faith effort then NORM may bill the practice for the cost of study material/test or the practice may no longer be able to enroll participants in the future. *Please note that each purchase of a test allows for two chances to take that particular certification. If the participant is unable to pass on the first try it is the participant’s responsibility to schedule another test date to try again. If the new test date is in the following year and new books are required to take that test, the participant will be responsible for obtaining them. NORM will not provide new books or test materials for a test taken in the New Year. AAPC Membership: To take the exam and maintain your certification you must be a member of AAPC. This is the responsibility of the AAPC Test taker, you will be required to submit your AAPC number/password to Michelle Owen.
